Female Healthcare Providers' Experiences of Childbearing: A Content Analysis Based on the Social Capital Theory

Introduction: Social capital has potential effects on reproductive health and childbearing behaviors. However, there is limited information about its relationship with childbearing. Objective: This study aimed to explore female healthcare providers' experiences of based the social theory. Materials Methods: qualitative was conducted from July 2018 February 2019 15 workers in centers Babol City, Iran. The participants were purposively recruited maximum variation respecting their age, work experience, educational level, occupation. data collected through semi-structured interviews analyzed using directed content analysis. Results: providers working hospitals or University Medical Science. Their mean±SD age experience 35±8.25 10±7.5 years, respectively. extracted codes during analysis grouped into three predetermined main categories, namely structural (social learning conformation norms), cognitive beliefs values subcategories, religious beliefs, gender preference, stigma), relational (support trust). most critical factors affecting participants' behaviors trust support systems norms.
